Java Development Lead at BairesDev

If you are a natural leader with mentoring experience, this job is for you! As a Java Development Lead in our Team, your mission will be to technically oversee a team of experienced front and back developers. You will work in a fast-paced global team pushing innovation to the next level. Innovation is at the heart of the BairesDev strategy.

What You Will Do:

- Take technical ownership of platform modules, overseeing design, development, and integration.
- Create robust, clean server-side code in alignment with best practices for optimal performance.
- Conduct research and development to evaluate emerging technologies and concepts. 
- Articulate their value to contribute to the company's growth trajectory.
- Lead and participate in code reviews, establishing high coding standards and best practices.
- Mentor and guide less-experienced software engineers, fostering their professional growth.

Here’s what we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in Java.
- Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and more.
- Track record of designing and developing efficient APIs to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud architecture design, particularly in distributed services and microservices.
- Skilled in designing resilient, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Leadership experience, including task delegation, risk management, decision-making, conflict resolution, and project planning.
- Native Spanish level.
- Intermediate English Level.

Additional Requirements:

- A minimum of 6 hours of time zone overlap with Spain.
- Willingness to travel to Spain.
- Open to potential relocation.
